John has an extensive background in achieving growth in business by developing the right marketing strategies, finding high-calibre individuals and teams, and providing the highest levels of service to everyone he works with.
Background
Having been involved in Nexa as a board member from day one, John has previously worked in recruitment for 20 years, starting his own recruitment business in 2012. Following a successful sale to a large corporation, John has been working in the legal technology industry since 2021, joining Nexa as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Talent in 2023. Building on all his previous experience gained in attracting and managing the very best talent in the industries he’s worked in, John is responsible for working with the rest of the management team and Nexa consultants to grow the brand and attract business for our people.

Likes
John is a keen cyclist, participating in many endurance events throughout the year. He’s also a longstanding season ticket-holder for Birmingham City Football Club, and whilst this rarely gives him pleasure it does give him the chance to spend time with his family who have been unfortunate enough to follow in his footsteps.
