Alette joined Goldstein Legal as a paralegal in March 2020 and soon after commenced her role as a trainee solicitor. Since then Goldstein Legal merged with nexa law on the 31st of March 2021 where upon Alette continues her training contract.
Alette relocated to the UK from Australia in 2010 after graduating with a Bachelor of History, and spent 10 years working in construction and development, public administration, and private equity. Alette made the decision to transition into law in 2018 and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law with BPP thereafter. Alette is currently completing the Legal Practitioners Course on a part-time basis alongside her position with Goldstein Legal, and will qualify as a solicitor in March 2022.
Areas of Expertise
Alette’s primary areas of responsibility include advising on and reviewing franchise agreements and overseeing UK trademarking for the firm. She also assists Roz and other solicitors within the Goldstein Legal team in all areas of franchise law, including disputes, terminations, business resales, and general commercial matters.
Alette is an avid traveller and has visited approximately 35 countries to date. Her favourite locations include Tokyo and Hong Kong, and she is always planning her next adventure.
With a very keen interest in Japanese culture, Alette hopes to learn the language in her spare time once she has completed her legal studies.
