Lindsey is an experienced private client solicitor and has been providing advice in the private client sector since 1988, qualifying first as a fellow of the (then) Institute of Legal Executives and as a solicitor in 2000.
Lindsey has spent her entire career in the private client sector and has many years’ dealing with people and families needing advice on probate and estate administration, Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate planning and Court of Protection applications.
Prior to becoming a consultant with nexa law Lindsey has been a partner in a long established Leicester firm and a partner in a regional firm as well as consulting with a niche private client firm and a regional accountancy practice.
Lindsey is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and The Solicitors for the Elderly and is a dementia friend.
Volunteering has always played an important part in Lindsey’s life and she has held a number or charitable trusteeships over the years and is currently a trustee of VAL Voluntary Action Leicestershire.
Lindsey’s particular expertise lies in working with families providing pragmatic advice and solutions in respect of succession, taxation and financial issues and acting for people wishing to be appointed by the Court of Protection as a deputy on behalf of a loved one who has lost their mental capacity.
Probate and the administration of an estate following a death can be a difficult time for a family and Lindsey has the skills and experience to ensure this process is conducted efficiently and effectively allowing the family to deal with their grief and the more personal aspects of losing a loved one.
Lindsey adopts a holistic approach and advises families on intergenerational estate planning often alongside the family’s other advisors such as accountants and financial advisors ensuring that all the family’s needs are met and all plans are implemented in a coordinated manner.
Lindsey is passionate about ensuring that her clients receive excellent service and practical solutions for their often complex needs.
In her spare time Lindsey enjoys walking, reading, and spending time with her family.
