Rozina is a solicitor who qualified in 2013. She commenced her practical legal career straight after completion of her law degree. She worked full time as an Immigration fee earner whilst studying the LPC part-time in the evenings and therefore has substantial experience in this field.
Rozina is based in Leeds. She has worked with a number of niche firms specialising in immigration and also for reputable medium-size firms.
Throughout her legal career she has represented clients in all areas of immigration including family, business immigration, domestic violence, EU law and nationality. Rozina also specialises in education, in particular, Special Educational Needs law.
Special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) law is a very specialist area. She came across this area of law due to her own child requiring assistance in school due to his special needs. Throughout her son’s education she has challenged the school, local authority and has appealed to the SEN tribunal in order to ensure he receives the right educational support in school.
She gained professional legal training in special educational needs law, disability and school exclusion law with a leading charity in the field. She has assisted and legally represented parents in their child’s SEN or disability tribunal matters and offered telephone legal advice to parents in relation to their child’s tribunal appeals. She can also assist in primary and secondary school appeals.
Rozina has great experience in residential Landlord and Tenant law, in dealing with rent arrears, evictions, court possession applications representing both for landlords and tenants.
