Welcoming Donna Taylor, our new Private Client Lawyer

We are very pleased to have recently welcomed Donna Taylor to our team of experienced Consultant Solicitors at nexa law.

Donna has over 20 years-experience in all elements of Private Client work having qualified as a Solicitor in December 2000. Donna is a personable solution based holistic lawyer using her contacts to make the journey through the matter as smooth as possible.

Donna qualified in a sole practitioner’s office in Benfleet in Essex after having spent time at the Legal Aid Board as a Debt Recovery Officer and in a central London law firm as a Paralegal. Donna’s career has seen her working in firms all over England to include Essex, Kent, Cambridge, London and Merseyside.

Donna has worked in both Private Practice including heading up numerous departments, running her own practice and being a Partner in a multi-county firm heading up and expanding the Private Client department. Donna has also worked as Head of Legal for a Will Writing and Trust Administration firm.

Donna has dealt with all aspects of Wills and Estate Administration both simple and complex to include Estates including family businesses, large estates with foreign property and with foreign beneficiaries. Donna likes to provide practical and pragmatic solutions for her clients. Donna’s particular interest is Inheritance Tax. Donna likes to advise the family as a whole and to look at future planning.

Donna has also dealt with many aspects of Mental Capacity Law to include Lasting Powers of Attorneys, Deputyships (to include obtaining Health & Welfare) and Statutory Wills.

She has several personal appointments as an Attorney and Deputy over the last few years. Donna also acts as a Trustee in a number of Will Trusts and other Trusts as required by her clients.

Donna uses her network of many contacts such as Estate Agents, Financial Advisors, Accountants and other lawyers to name a few to provide a fully comprehensive personal service.
