Aneil Ramroop joins nexa law

We are very pleased to have recently welcomed Aneil Ramroop to our team of experienced Consultant Solicitors here at nexa law.

Aneil is a solicitor with almost 20 years’ experience in financial services, providing support and advice to a wide range of financial institutions including banks, asset managers and hedge funds.

Aneil has particular expertise in negotiating trading documentation and commercial agreements with a view to protecting firms against counterparty default and market risks as well as providing commercial and operational benefits such as netting efficiencies. On the regulatory side, Aneil prepares bespoke compliance programmes, manuals and internal books and records, and advises on supervisory processes such as responding to requests from regulators and submitting regulatory filings and notifications.

Aneil has worked in legal and compliance departments of a number of investment banks in London (including Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, UBS and Standard Chartered) as well as investment managers and hedge funds (Schroders, Aviva and Capula) and an off-shore trust company.
