Kevin qualified as Solicitor in 2005 and is the holder of a Masters Degree in Legal Practice Management. He has specialist experience in the areas of Insurance, Personal Injury, Serious Injuries, Consumer Law and Civil Fraud which he has practised throughout his career.
Kevin trained at a Legal 500 Top Tier Solicitors practice, specialising in serious and catastrophic injury, and later worked at two of the UK’s Top 100 recognised international Law firms, specialising in Defendant personal injury litigation, insurance, and civil fraud.
In a departure from the big firm mentality, in 2014, Kevin established his own solicitors’ firm where he could deal with each client on an individual basis applying the personal touch.
Kevin ran his own firm for 7 years, specialising in personal injury, clinical negligence, general litigation, and family law (Divorce, Financial Arrangements and Domestic Violence) applying the personal touch to each of his clients and their cases and nurturing and developing junior members of staff, a number of which qualified as Solicitors, whilst at the firm.
In addition to working full time as a Solicitor Kevin has held a position as a visiting lecturer at BBP Law school in the areas of Tort Law, personal injury, and Clinical Negligence on the LPC and GDL.
In addition, Kevin has contributed several chapters to a textbook for post graduate students in the area of Tort Law.
Areas of Expertise
Kevin now handles a variety of cases on behalf of commercial and individual clients. He has a particular interest in personal injury litigation and practices in all areas including road traffic accidents, accident at work or in public places and high value CICA matters, and chronic pain.
He has developed a keen interest in Clinical Negligence matters, where this has resulted in the death of a patient and can assist with investigating and pursuing compensation claims for victims of clinical negligence, together with representation at a Coroners Inquest.
Kevin has experience dealing with matters against the Police and the MOD involving accidents and injuries sustained outside of the Jurisdiction.
Kevin likes to spend his spare time keeping fit, travelling, and fine dining. He is a keen cook and gardener, having previously been an investor and commercial director of a landscape wholesale business. Kevin now splits his time between the UK and France renovating property there, and recently having established a landscape and property maintenance business in France in 2020.
