House of Brands: Nexa announces a new service which allows consultant solicitors to market their services under their own brand

Consultancy legal platform Nexa Law is proud to announce a new service entitled  “House of Brands” which allows its consultant solicitors to market their legal services under their own business/personal brand.

The initiative effectively allows lawyers to run their own law firms on Nexa’s platform which provides all the necessary back-office support and management of regulatory and insurance matters through its SRA regulated entity.

Nigel Clark, Nexa CEO, said:

“We believe we are unique in the flexibility we give our consultants on how they can go to market which allows them to continue to use their own brand if they have built up a law firm of their own. Alternatively, we are happy to use the Nexa brand to market themselves to clients and  prospective clients.”

We know there is an appetite for people to run their own legal businesses under their own name but that the practicalities and costs  of setting up, running and even exiting  your own law firm can overwhelm that ambition. At Nexa, we have essentially done all the hard admin work so our solicitors only have to worry about looking after their clients.

Not many other consultancy firms offer anything like this, so Houseof Brands from Nexa is an innovation we’re happy to shout about.  All our consultants have absolute freedom and flexibility to run their businesses how they wish, they work when and where they want and for whom they want. They can even employ their own teams directly if they wish.”

Nexa currently has around 20 differentiated brands on its platform, including:

    • Sherlock Legal, run by Kirsty Limacher, specialising in private client work including wills and probate, estate administration, powers of attorney, Court of Protection deputy applications and elderly client matters. Kirsty has particular interest in advising cohabiting couples and those with alternative relationship structures.
    • Jacobs Legal, run by Jonathan Jacobs, the leading, specialist dentist solicitor in the UK. The firm’s dental lawyers represent dentists who own both large and small, private and corporate dental practices in both the NHS and private sectors. They can also advise dentists on complaints to the Dental Complaints Service.
    • Femi O. Ogunshakin, run by Femi Ogunshakin, an experienced tax advisor and solicitor who specialises in restructuring and insolvency, employment law, litigation and dispute resolution.
    • Boldr run by Dan Jenkins and Matt Dunne which provides legal services for all entities moving in the tech space, with a particular focus on Web3, blockchain and cryptocurrency.
    • Steven Mather Solicitor run by Steven Mather specialising in advising business owners and company directors, including buying and selling businesses, commercial contracts, IP, dispute management and employee issues.
