James Downey joins nexa law

We are very pleased to welcome James Downey to our team of highly experienced consultant solicitors at nexa law.

James is a city trained corporate lawyer and also a successful entrepreneur retaining an interest in a business he co-founded.

James has advised on a wide range of transactions including fundraising and investments, M&A, joint ventures, group reorganisations and general corporate and commercial advisory work for public and private companies.  He also has specialist in-house legal experience supporting fast growth businesses having worked with Legal Edge and for GE Capital. James qualified as a UK Lawyer in 2007 after a career as a Tornado Navigator in the RAF.

James likes to spend his spare time keeping fit and enjoys running, swimming, tennis and golf (when time permits). He is also a keen skier, retaining an interest in a ski chalet business that he set up with his wife in 2012.
