Trio of leading in-house lawyers join nexa law

Nexa is delighted to announce the arrival of three leading in-house lawyers as Consultant Solicitors.

Experienced Aviation Solicitor Ashley Witcher comes to nexa from his role as Head of Legal at listed aviation logistics specialist John Menzies and was previously Head of Legal for Etihad Airlines. Ashley adds valuable expertise to nexa’s aviation team alongside existing nexa Consultant Jim Morris who joined from Ashfords LLP in 2019.

Corporate Finance Solicitor Henry Clarke adds to the Nexa corporate and commercial team having joined from venture fund Blackfinch Investments where he was Group Legal Director. Henry previously worked at global law firms Dentons and Clifford Chance, as well as serving in the British Army reaching the rank of Major.

Commercial and Life Sciences Solicitor Clive Douglas has joined from Teva Pharmaceuticals to strengthen the Nexa commercial team, and in particular the life sciences sector focus. Clive has previously worked at Norton Rose and Wragge and Co and is a trained mediator. Clive will work alongside Intellectual Property specialist and recent joiner Abby Minns who comes to Nexa from Osborne Clarke and before that Bird & Bird where she provided expert advice for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.

Henry brings a wealth of experience in international business and comes to nexa at a time of notable growth for the firm’s the corporate and commercial teams. The firm recently welcomed Jon Percy who previously worked at global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright in both London and Singapore and Ben Walmsley from Peregrine Law having previously been at CMS Cameron McKenna.
